ARMAP and AOV continue to prepare the next generation of innovators through cyberinfrastructure training for graduate students. Lead developer Ari Kassin, PhD Comp. Sci., will further his career as a GIS Analyst and Database Programmer with the City of El Paso. Mauricio Barba, MSc Elect. & Comp. Eng., has stepped into the lead programming role.
ARMAP projects are now visible in a portal facilitating scientific research in Greenland, Isaaffik. This advance is the result of collaboration and a new partnership for information sharing and interoperability.
