ARMAP continues to train the next generation of Arctic scientists, with a focus on cyberinfrastructure. To date Craig Tweedie has mentored 32 students, most from underrepresented groups. For example, a few recent graduates have moved on to Intel and LANL.

A user study has been initiated to engage a range of representative users to understand current and potential needs. The objective is to focus our efforts to better meet GIS-related needs for the Arctic Program.
